A. & C. Black Ltd., 1926. Hardcover. Acceptable/Acceptable. 1926. Second Impression. 189 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over green cloth with blue lettering. Contains colour illustrated plates by Sutton Palmer. Pages are lightly tanned with heavy foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Faded pencil inscription to front free endpaper and paste-down, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Former owner's inscription to reverse of endpaper. Mild cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Boards have light shelf-wear with mild corner bumping and slight crushing to spine ends. Book has a notable backward lean and subtle bow. Light tanning to spine and edges. Unclipped jacket has heavy surface wear, with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing to spine ends, edges and corners. Moderately tanned, with liquid staining to rear corner and spine.
