Limited Editions, Volume I No. 12 of 20, Volume II No. 4 of 20, Volume III No. 15 of 20; set concerns the history of the written language, on development of spaces between words, punctuation, etc. Three uniformly bound miniatures, measuring 2.75in x 2.25in, each in handpainted boards with a short paper slipcase; each bound in complicated 'dos-a-dos' style where first and third sections face one way and one turns the book around to read the middle section; all completely handmade and hand-drawn; overall, vg (wear to corners of covers; crease to panel of Vol. I's slipcase; Vol. II slipcase too large for miniature, miniature slips out, and side edges of slipcase creased; Vol. III slipcase smaller in height than other two).
