Doubleday, Page & Co.. Good in Fair dust jacket. 1901. Hardcover. First edition (same date on title and copyright pages). Hard cover published by Doubleday, Page and Co. in 1901. Copyright page has # 4 written in red after the box with edition information. Covers are tanned and worn along edges, corners of covers are bumped, worn and starting to split, and spine has foxing around the label and has some wear and rubbing at the ends. Inside front cover has an inscription and date (1903), which has bled over to the front endpaper. The tissue paper in front of title page is torn by binding three-fourths of way down. Interior of book is in good plus condition. Dust jacket is the original linen jacket, and it is in acceptable condition. Bottom of spine of DJ is missing a piece, top edge is creased and fraying, and spine is darkened. DJ is scuffed quite a bit, corners are worn with some tearing and fraying, and interior of DJ by spine has some cracking.; 10.5" x 8" x 2"; 461 pages .
