New York: Henry Holt, 1998. Bound in the publishers mustard coloured hardboards with contrasting brown cloth quarter binding to spine. Gilt title lettering to spine. The 404 pages are in excellent condition and are squarely bound. Front board is stamped in gilt with John Fowles initials. Pages are roughcut at foreedge as published. Housed in the as new dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Protected in removable archival booksleeve to preserve condition. A very interesting collection of essays and occasional writings from one of England's finest writers. The photograph supplied is a picture of the book and the dustwrapper and we are happy to send more images on request. An exceptional copy throughout.
