Oversized hardcover with dust jacket, 256 pages including "16 maps, 99 color and 350 black and white illustrations"; just a hint of shelf wear to cover edges, otherwise very gently used, tight in binding although spine ever so slightly slanted, very clean and unmarked throughout, pages fresh and white; DJ gently bumped at spine and hinge ends, but no chips or tears.
