About This Item

Lewiston, Maine / Boston: The Author, 1900. Hardcover. Near Fine/Good. First edition. Illustrated by Harry C. Wilkinson, including a fold-out frontispiece. Octavo. 311 [1] pp. Grey cloth stamped in silver. Three small worn areas on the topedge of the lower board and a bit of light offsetting on the endleaves else very near fine in toned, presentable but good only dust jacket with some shallow loss along the topedge and a couple of very short tears. The author introduces his "Coöperative Association of America," a cure for the economic ills of the time; he writes that this book is not a literary effort but rather a word from one businessman to another. Not in Tanselle.
