First Thus [Methuen & Co, London, 1959]; 243pp; orange boards, gold titling on spine, illustrated endpapers, mild rubbing at base, a couple black finger marks, else fine; in the excellent, unclipped [21s net] illustrated dustjacket, rear panel marked, spine bumped at top with 1cm tear. First publication of the Pooh poetry books: "When We Were Very Young" plus "And Now We Are Six" in full. With numerous decorations & eight full-page colour plate illustrations by E.H. Shepard. A beautiful copy of a much-cherished book.
