0 First Rare Hardcover edition/First Printing published by Rich & Cowan, London 1956. Comes with it's original dustjacket plus a facsimile jacket. Original jacket has large section missing from rear panel, closed tears and creasing/small sections missing from edges. Small mark to front flap and some browning to verso. Now protected in archive cover. No marks or inscriptions. Bookplate removed from front pastedown. Spotting to page edges and occasional throughout. paper split at spine to half-title page (Not affecting webbing) Cloth covers have general reading and shelf wear with some markings. Bump to bottom corner of rear.
