First British book club edition in scarce dust jacket, originally published in America as Solar Lottery (PKD's first published work) in 1955. Tight binding with minor wear to edges and spine ends. Dust soiling to top edge of text block. The text is unmarked. Endpapers on either side show faint vertical strips of off-white discoloration (approx. half inch wide). The dust jacket is edge worn and lightly soiled with small chips, tears, and darkening to spine, in a mylar cover. One small, open tear along top edge of front fold. 8vo. 160pp.
Synopsis
Solar Lottery is a 1955 science fiction novel by American writer Philip K. Dick. It was his first published novel and contains many of the themes present in his later work.
