About This Item
G.P. Putnam and Son. Used - Acceptable. 1868. A complete 27 volume set of the works of Washington Irving published by G.P. Putnam and Son during the years 1868-70. Each volume bound in three quarters leather over marble paper covered boards, octavo. Three of the volumes have a board which has fallen off due to severe edge-wear to the joists. Most volumes have at least minor edge-wear to boards and spine and slightly bumped corners. Internally, each volume appears to be in excellent condition with minimal foxing and leaves free from markings. A handsome, if flawed set of these important works of literature. Sold with all faults.
