A gorgeous set. This set has abrasions, and generalized wear. There is wear to the spine extremities, gouging heavy abrasions. One of the covers is detached. The hinges are attached. This set still requires additional review. The set does not indicate the number of volumes, but 27 is a common number for Irving. The titles still need to be verified on this set. This set is over 150 years old. The dates are on the copyright page which still needs to be verified. This set will make an excellent gift or addition to any fine library. One of the covers is detached.
Each book will be individually wrapped and well protected for shipping.
This is a nice antiquarian set bound in the highest quality calf leather bindings. These are the original bindings. This set still requires further inspection, so the hinges should be presumed as being strongly attached but potentially starting. Set is presumed complete as 27 is a standard number for Irving. This set has some scuffs and abrasions visible in the pictures.
