The English Library. 3 volume set. 1st thus (1927). 351; 400; 601pp. Original quarter light brown and dark brown cloth with brown leather title labels to spine with gilt lettering, deckle edge. All vols VG copies but for wear to title labels (vol.1 partially lost, vol.2 completely lost, vol.3 mostly intact), bindings square and tight, cloth covers mostly clean but for a couple of small marks, edges gently worn with some bumping and breaking at corners, internally very good, tissue-guards at frontis in vols 1+2 only as issued, no dust jackets . Good. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1927.
