Very Good. 1st thus, Edition de Luxe, limited to 1000 copies 10 volume set. 8vo., t.e.g. Each volume about 480 pp., illustrated with frontispieces, and approx. 4 mezzo gravure plates in each volume. Brown cloth with title on paper labels on the spine. Frontispieces have tissue guards, and captions. Fore edge of text untrimmed; nice wide margins. Title labels toned and some with wear. All volumes with the same previous owner's handsome book plate. Light shelf wear. Some text signatures remain unopened. Not available for expedited or overseas shipping. The plates are dated and copyrighted to the Edinburgh Society, 1909.
