Crosby Lockwood & Son, 1901. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1901. 6th Edition. 443 pages. No dust jacket. Brown cloth with gilt lettering. Contains black & white, illustrations and plates. Front & rear hinges are cracked with exposed netting, Front board come away from text block but remains attached. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Slight cracking to gutters, with exposed netting, pages remain firm. Text is clear. Binding is slightly shaky , however pages remain attached. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Minor splits causing fraying to cloth at spine ends. Moderate crushing to spine ends. Noticeable white staining.
