Octavo/8vo, measures around 9 1/4" by 6" by 1 3/8". Purple cloth binding, gilt lettering to spine. Marking and scuffing to binding, much discolouration, particularly to board edges and spine. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges, tearing at edges of spine and a little one boards. Some slackness to binding but contents reasonably firm. Page edges browned, scuffed and a bit marked, upper and fore-edges neatly cut. Some marking to endpapers, inscription on front free endpaper. Some lines in margins and the odd note.
