Thomas Armitage, 1774. Hardcover. Good/Without Dust Wrapper. Half leather binding with marbled paper boards and end pages. Maroon leather title insert on the spine with gilt decoration. Marbled decoration to the head, tail and fore edge of the text block then burnished at the head. Condition: Good - looks to have a Victorian re-backed, reusing the leather, paper covered boards and end pages. Corners bumped and rounded leaving the leather thread bear, wear to the extremities of the boards, stain at the head of the spine on volume 1, ex libris plates on the pastedown of all but volume 5, slight tanning to the pages otherwise contents clean, bright and tight. As this item weighs over 1kg additional postage is required for delivery outside of the United Kingdom.
