Otridge; Cadell and Davies; J. Richardson; J. Mawman; A.K. Newman; J. Booker; R. Baldwin; T, 1813. First Thus . Full Leather. Good. Octavo. London: F.C. & J. Rivington; J. Walker; J. Cuthell; W. Lowndes; Scatcherd and Letterman; W. Bent; J. Nunn; Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme, and Brown; J. Carpenter; W. Otridge; Cadell and Davies; J. Richardson; J. Mawman; A.K. Newman; J. Booker; R. Baldwin; T. Hamilton; and Gale, Curtis, and Fenner. Printed by S. hamilton, Weybridge. 1813. Three volumes, full calf with gilt dentelles and accents, marbled endpapers and marbled page edges. Volume 3 of the three is in quite very good condition, with primarily just some scuffing at spine top and hinges, and bumped corners. Volume 2 of the three is losing spine cover at the top, front cover detached but present; volume 1 of the three has nearly detached spine cover, front cover detached but present. Otherwise, 1 & 2 are in a similar state to volume 3. Volumes 1 and 2 have a nice complement of engravings, for a poetic collection. Volume 3, definitely a part of the set, appears to have none. No doubt a decision of the plenitude of publishers. Inscription of Anne Fuller Rogers, dated in Boston, in 1896, is likely that of the Anne Fuller Rogers who, at about that time, attended M.I.T. and there met Charles-Edward Amory Winslow, famed bacteriologist and public health expert, who she would later marry - giving this set a (probable) interesting smidgen of association status.
