First volume in a set of three large books, this one containing six of his most popular works, illustrated with 40 full page engravings. Brown cloth over beveled boards, lettering and decoration in gilt and black, all edges gilt, large book at 10.5 inches tall, 1183 pages. Good condition with some shelfwear, mainly rubbing to the extremities, front hinge internally reglued and secure, text block sound, pages lightly age-toned but clean, no names or other markings. The following novels are included in this volume: OliverTwist; David Copperfield; Our Mutual Friend; Great Expectations; Little Dorrit; Martin Chuzzlewit.. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
