New York: The American News Company, 1880. Cloth. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Barnard, F. . Six Volume Set. Bound In Three Quarter Brown Pebbled Cloth Over Brown. The Title And Author Are Stamped In Gold On The Spines. Little Dorritt Has A Damp Stain On The Front Board Opposite The Spine. Martin Chuzzlewit Has A Couple Of Black Spots On The Back And One On The Spine. These Six Volumes Are Not Dated. Probably Around 1880. The Corners Are No Longer Straight And Show Signs Of Wear. One Volume With Cracked Hinges. The Books Are In Good Shape For Their Age.

Synopsis

Charles Dickens (7 February 1812  - 9 June 1870) was an English author of many notable works, including Great Expectations, A Christmas Carol, Oliver Twist , and A Tale of Two Cities.  Multiple publishing firms have released bound collections of his works.  Notable sets of Dickens Works have been published by Chapman and Hall in a 24 piece set, and Baker and Taylor in a 12 volume set.
