Signature and date crossed out on recto of front flyleaf: "CR Boxer // ii.ii.78". Inscribed by author in different ink below: "Douglas with best wishes // From //Charles, // Pretzel Bell--Virgin's Retreat // (Jan-April '78)" 142 pp., facsimile autograph in text, color frontispiece plate. *** First American Edition. Appears to be identical to London, 1975 first edition except for the title page, dust jacket, and lettering on the spine.*** West 265.
