A complete set of first editions, first impressions of the books comprising The Wolf Hall Trilogy.

Some of the usual toning to edges of vol one with a little faint pencil mark and very faint spotting to fore-edge, else near fine. Vols two and three are in fine, unread condition. The original and unclipped dust jackets are also in excellent condition with just a hint of fading to spine panel and trivial signs of wear to top edge of vol one. An excellent set.

Publisher's quarter black cloth over red cloth sides, decorated in gilt to spines and uppers; coloured flipped for 'Bring Up the Bodies'. Each SIGNED by Hilary Mantel, priced at £30, £35, and £50 respectively. Fine, as-new copies still in the original shrink-wrap, but for a light water stain to top right of the upper board of the third volume.

The WRAPPERS are in near Fine condition and protected in removable Brodart archival covers. The first 2 books in the series, 'Wolf Hall ' and 'Bring Up The Bodies' both won the Booker Prize, in 2009 and 2012 respectively, making Hilary Mantel the first woman to win the prize twice, and only the 4th author to have done so (now 5 authors after Margaret Atwood's shared win in 2019).
