An interesting account of the witchcraft and magical practices of Africa. A record of witchcraft, magic and sorcery, exploring religion, beliefs, and inexplicable facts. Written by Frederick Kaigh and including a foreword by Montague Summers. Signed and inscribed by the author to the front free-endpaper, inscribed 'To Jack'. Including a small ink inscription to the half title page: 'The Bepal and Horwich Family'. The first edition of this work. Illustrated with fourteen plates, collated and complete. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with some light shelf wear and a few marks to the front board. Including an inscription from the author to the front free-endpaper and a small ink inscription to the half title page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean. Very Good Indeed
