The top stain is near perfect, dark green. Illustrated with photos. The very scarce dustjacket is slightly worn with very minor chipping at the spine ends. Hetty Green of New Bedford, MA left an estate of $100m and not one cent to charity. The perfect gift for your broker. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Included with the book is a newspaper article from BowSprit dated Feb. 9, 1986 by Everett S. Allen, also an author about Hetty Green and her elusive ways with reporters. Allen was a reporter for the New Bedford Standard Times who also wrote "A Wind to Shake the World" about the massive hurricane of 1938. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
