Wrappers rather worn & some chipping to adverts at front, but internally reasonably tight & very clean. Would rebind beautifully

Plate incorporating photographic portraits of the five cricketers of the year: Grimmett, Peebles, Bradman, Lyon and Turnbull. Generally very good. 68th edition.

London: John Wisden and Co. Ltd, 1933.. Small 8vo. 2-719 pp, excluding the covers. Publisher's yellow printed limp cloth covers, with the original gold stringed cricket bat bookmark still with part of the handle. Spine creasing, some light wear, else very good. 70th edition.

Wisden, 1926. 1st Edition. Paperback. Good/No Jacket. 719pp, not price clipped, no inscriptions. It is described to front cover as the third edition but I understand this means it was the third and last in this short lived series. Very good condition copy with only slight rubbing to wraps especially corners and top and bottom of spine, bump to upper front corner, spine is slightly browned, one light stain to edge of text block which cannot be seen when book is open. Some light soiling. Clean and bright internally, no spotting, little wear, some corners slightly dog eared. There are what appear to be two bookworm holes to rear wrap, these are quite tiny at around 1mm across but one goes into the text to pg 708 of the index and the other which is slightly more substantial is mostly in page margins and goes to page 688.
