London: MacMillan and Co., Limited, 1928 Hard cover, 8 vo., in publisher's green cloth with gilt "TH "monogram design to center front, and titles in gilt to spine, with unclipped dust jacket in tan with black print, 202 pp. In mylar protector. Printed R. & R. Clark, Edinburgh. CONDITION: Very Good : Ffep has ghost from the original application of binding glue near the gutter. Very slight wear to head, tail of spine. Interior is clean, tight and gently age toned. Many pages unopened. D/J: Good, with sunning to spine, a loss at head of spine, split at front joint, and some damage to rear at top. This was the valedictory volume of poetry written by English poet Hardy, who died the same year. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good.
