According to the publisher, "Here are all the poems Mr. Williams has written up to now [1956] which he wishes to preserve. There are light poems in this volume, including those written for Paul Bowles' music, and others which are debonaire and sweet. There are some which are almost unbearable in their intensity and power." All of the poems are personal, and they share the imagination, darting awareness, the incandescent vitality. A very collectible book. Note: We are a well-established, well-respected, ethical book dealer in business since 1991. We describe the condition of our books thoroughly and honestly, so you'll know exactly what you will be receiving when you order. We ship promptly. . First Edition. Very Good/Good.

We are a well-established, well-respected dealer that is professional, honest, and ethical in our business dealings. We tend to describe each book in a reserved, conservative manner, rather than oversell a book or sidestep the responsibility of addressing its flaws. We describe our books in detail, pointing out the precise condition of each book based on our opinion. It's your assurance that the book we describe is as close as possible to the book you’ll receive. In business since 1991, we typically have five-star ratings on major web sites.
