The first two volumes of the official biography of Sir Winston Churchill, covering from 1874 to 1914. Written by Sir Winston Churchill's son Randolph, who finished the first two volumes; the remainder of the set was continued by historian Martin Gilbert after Randolph's death. With details on Sir Winston Churchill's childhood and early life and beginning of his career when he became a parliamentarian statesman and author of the first order. No dust wrappers. Illustrated with frontispiece to each volume, photographic plates and maps throughout, three folding tables. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with only minor shelf wear and a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Only a minor chipping to the head of the spine of vol. II. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Illustrated with frontispiece to each volume, photographic plates and maps throughout, three folding tables. Very Good Indeed
