London: Methuen & Co, 1926. First Edition. Near Fine/Near Fine. First British edition, first printing. Publisher's green cloth decorated in gilt on upper board and spine. Near Fine with small scratch to rear board, endsheets offset from jacket flaps. In a Near Fine unclipped dust jacket with "117th Thousand" on rear flap, with darkening to spine and lighter so to edges, light edge wear, small chips to corners and top of spine. A lovely copy of this classic children's book.
