T. Nelson and Sons. , 1885. pp.108 with 10 hand-coloured plates. 8vo. Hardback. End-papers showing darkening. Minor foxing. Two leaves with a little loss to margin. Otherwise contents fine. Original decorated cloth boards in vg. condition, a little spine lean. Harding 284. Copies of this work tend to have black and white plates and sometimes, a hand-coloured frontispiece. This copy has both the hand-coloured frontispiece and a further 9 hand-coloured plates. A beekeeping tale for children by the prolific Victorian writer Charlotte Marie Tucker, who wrote under the pseudonym A.L.O.E. (A lady Of England).
