About This Item
New York: The Fountain Press, 1929. Cloth. Near Fine. SIGNED BY WILLIAM BUTLER YEATS on the half-title. #191 of 600 copies signed by the poet and distributed (300 to America via Random House and 300 to Great Britain via Grant Richards and Humphrey Toulmin at the Cayme Press Limited). The entire limitation has been designed by Frederick Warde. This copy clean, well-preserved and VG+ to Near Fine in its navy-blue cloth, with bright, decorative gilt-bordering along the panels and 2 separate, clean leather labels (one noting the author, the other the publisher) along the spine. One tiny spot at the front panel, decorative former owner bookplate to the front pastedown and light offseting along the edges of both endpapers and pastedowns. Still though, very presentable and significant as such,
