She also gives some time over to Bacon's alleged occult tinkering, the Shakespeare-authorship issue, and his restructuring of philosophical high learning, among others.

An excellent copy. Pages are clean, bright and unmarked, the lightest of foxing on the top edge. Cloth boards are tight and clean. DJ is price clipped but in very good condition, with only minimal shelf wear at the very top. No fading.
