About This Item
McClurg & Co., 1887. First American edition. Hardcover. Good. Shelf wear to tips, corners and edges of book, covers rubbed, front hinge cracked but tight; titles just legibile. Clean and unmarked, top edge gilt. "William Shakespeare is an 1864 work by Victor Hugo, written in his 13th year of exile. The title is misleading; the true subject of the work is the writers that Hugo considered "the greatest geniuses of all time."--Wikipedia. Every effort is made to ship all books and other items within 24 hours. Clean recycled packing material will be used when possible. The Book Shed has a been a member of the Vermont Antiquarian Bookseller's Association since 1997. An online bookseller with a bookshop sensibility!
