London: Charles Knight, 1840. William Shakespear. 7 volumes. Tragedies, 2 volumes, Comedies, 2 volumes, Histories, 2 volumes, Biography, 1 volume. Books measure 10 x 6 3/4 inches. Bound in full period calf, raised bands, oranate gilt tooling within compartments, gilt rule lines to boards, gilt crest on each board, full marble edges, marble endpapers. One volume has been skillfully rebacked, and board repaired. Calf rubbed on edges and corners, a couple of boards have faded marking. Generally all bindings in very good clean firm condition. Internally, each volume has a couple of defunct '' Albemarle Lodge '' library stamps, no other library marks. Pages and illustrations in very good clean condition. A very attractive collection of volumes. . Full Period Calf. Very Good. Large 8vo.

We are members of the PBFA and exhibit at a large number of their fairs across the UK.
