Author Marshall's attempt to portray the interior and spiritual side of the poet, artist, and socialist. 315 pp. plus index. 11 illustrtions. Another ISBN number (0807610127) appears on rear dust-jacket flap. Small black mark (possible remainder?) on bottom edge of text block - otherwise a clean copy with no names or marks. Unclipped, mylar-covered dust-jacket has light soiling, an old price sticker on blank rear panel, and edgewear, including a 1 by 1.5 inch chip at bottom of front panel.
