Raleigh, NC: North Carolina Historical Commission, 1929. Book. VG+. Cloth. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. "With Introduction and notes by William K. Boyd ". 341 pp. with illustrations and fold out map. This copy is VG+. Black cloth spine with brown cloth boards. Gilt tiles/rules to the spine. Exterior is clean with minimal rubbing and only a hint of wear. Gilt minimally rubbed but still bright. Inside has PO signature stamp of Joseph Hyde Pratt ( 1870-1942). Per NCpedia, Pratt was a noted geologist, conservationist, educator, and prolific author, as well as Colonel for the 1st Battallion of the 105th Engineers in WWI, and a DSM recipient. Otherwise , inside is unmarked, crisp, and tightly bound with minimal/even toning..
