Middlesboro, KY. Very Good in Very Good- dust jacket. 1966. Third Edition. Hardcover. "The path of empire in the conquest of the great west." The Great Road followed the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Cumberland Gap and than on to Louisville. Contains an index and a bibliographical notes in the rear. End paper maps. A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. The dust jacket has some edgewear and rubbing to the rear panel, else a presentable jacket that is not price-clipped. Copyright by Mrs. Robert L. Kincaid, but no mention of publisher (possibly published by her). ; B&W Illustrations, Map; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 392 pages .
