About This Item

Beverly Hills, CA: Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer [MGM], 1955. Draft script for the 1956 film "These Wilder Years," seen here under the title "All Our Yesterdays."

A steel magnate, played by James Cagney, is lonely despite having everything he could want out of life, so he goes searching for the son he gave up for adoption twenty years earlier. Cagney and costar Barbara Stanwyck both give compelling performances, and the chemistry between them is undeniable.

Set in Detroit and a small town called Bufton.

Blue titled wrappers, noted as TEMPORARY COMPLETE on the front wrapper, dated 11-28-55, with credits for producer Jules Schermer and screenwriter Frank Fenton. Title page integral with the first page of the text as issued, dated 11-28-55. 123 leaves, with last page of text numbered 121. Mimeograph duplication, with white revision pages throughout, dated variously between 11-28-55 and 1-16-56. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus bound with two gold brads.
