Hamilton, Adams & Co., 1888. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1888. Popular Edition. 335 pages. No dust jacket. The Wild Sports and Natural History of the Scottish Highlands. Green cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Pages are moderately tanned with notable foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with rubbing and a few small nicks along text block edge. Pencil inscription to front paste-down. Mild cracking to hinge and gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout, with minor dog-eared corners. Boards have light shelf-wear with minor corner bumping and mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Light tanning and notable insect damage to spine.
