Garden City: Doubleday & Company, Inc., 1980. First US Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Fair/Good. The prequel to her beloved Patternist novels. First Edition stated. An ex-library copy with cocked spine in red boards with white type. Edge and corner wear with creasing and dent to bottom front corner. Adhesive remanants to pastedowns with stickers to rear as well. Library pocket and stickers to ffep. Beginning split to bottom of front hinge at half-title page, but still holding. Stamps to title page and top and bottom page ends. Jacket is unclipped ($10.00) with wear/punctures to bottom front corner, puncture and abrasions to bottom of spine from sticker removal, small tear to top front corner and 2 1/2 inch tear with small chip at top of rear panel.
