About This Item

London: Cassell and Company, 1904. Later printing. Hardcover. Very good. Photographs by the Keartons. Richard Kearton and his brother Cherry in the very early days of photography became famous for their wild-life photography. WIld Life at Home was originally published in 1898, although this copy is from 1904. There are very few copies of the book available.

Gilt lettering still bright on front cover (somewhat faded on spine). The cover is somewhat loose from the pages or this would be near fine. There is an inscription in ink on the first endpaper "Clarence Schmidt from Mrs. Higgens, June 1907."
