London: A&C Black. FINE book, VG DJ(in Brodart).1st ed. 8"x5.5". 229pp.. (1922). 1st edition. Hardcover. FINE book, VG DJ. Cooper did 32 color plates & frontis. AS NEW book BUT: scuffed spine ends. Bright DJ. . Spine ends scuffed but no actual wear. Pastedown gutters faintly aged. Book else flawless, including all three text block edges. ALSO, book stays closed when stood on its spine. A good sign of having been read with care, if at all. DJ bright & attractive but edgeworn. A 2" chip in rear panel bottom, several 3/4" chips, all with associated tears. Rear panel top with another 2" chip, with an old internal repair. Both DJ flaps complete but with not priced. DJ clean, hence still attractive. Laid in three sheets stationary paper blind stamped "Caledonian Hotel, Inverness". .
