New York: McGraw-Hill, 1966-1975. First edition.. Slight repair to cracks in two slipcases, a bright and clean set in near fine condition.. Pp. 4203, 1305 full pages of color plates. Publishers original decorated cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine, in slipcases, lg 4to (13 x 10 inches). The set includes - Volume 1 (2 parts): The Northeastern States; Volume 2 (2 parts): The Southeastern States; Volume 3 (2 parts): Texas; Volume 4 (3 parts): The Southwestern States; Volume 5 (2 parts): The Northwestern States; and Volume 6 (3 parts): The Central Mountains and Plains. The index volume, published in 1975 is also included here. Small signature of previous owner, Helen Smith, is on the front attached endpaper of a few volumes, no other ownership marks, and no signs of use. All parts are the original first printing. This is a large and heavy set, it can be shipped by media mail in the USA for $75 in three boxes. No overseas postage is available.
