A Modern Library edition offering 6 major plays by the noted Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen (1828-1906). Translated and with an introduction by Eva Le Gallienne. --- In Toledano spine 8 / blue cloth / gilt titling on burgundy spine & cover blocks / faded red topstain / grey Kent endpapers / jacket style l, verso blank. Likely published c.1966 (though 1961 date appears in book). ML #307.1. --- Evidence of former Butte, Montana lending library ownership consists of rubberstampings, pocket, frequent inked notations, spine label & circular embossings; also with loosened front hinge, otherwise binding is sound and interior text unmarked. Jacket is wrapped in mylar protector which is taped to the book, and with taped-on spine sticker. Note: This item is damaged and is priced accordingly. ; Ex-Library; 12mo (7 to 7-1/2 in. tall) ; xliii, 499 pages .
