An ex-library copy, with usual library markings and pocket in rear. Binding is square, light grey boards have sunning and edgewear. The text is clean, with no highlighting or underlining. The dustjacket is unclipped with $3.50 price intact. Jacket shows no chips or tears and has been taped to boards. Protected in mylar cover. Carefully packaged and shipped in a cardboard box.
Synopsis
Why England Slept is the published version of a thesis written by John F. Kennedy while in his senior year at Harvard College. Its title was an allusion to Winston Churchill's 1938 book While England Slept, which also examined the buildup of German power.
