London: David Bogue , 1850. Plates in 2 states, hand coloured, uncoloured. Original cloth top cover and spine, bound in at end. Collation, 271pp, half title, 22 plates, of which 11 are hand coloured. Book measures 7 1/4 x 5 inches. Bound in full blue/green marocco, raised bands, ornate gilt tooling, gilt rulled lines, inner dentelles, top gilt edge, coloured endpapers. Probably bound in the 1880s. Leather lightly rubbed, very minor abrasion marks. Binding in very good clean firm condition. Internally, heavy spotting/browning to endpapers. Pages and plates in good clean condition. . First Edition. Period Morocco. Very Good. Illus. by George Cruikshank. 8vo.
