Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1940. Bound in tan cloth stamped in black with a great Charles Addams illustration of a guy shooting pool with the 8-ball displayed. In pink, gray and white dust jacket that has been reinforced (a long time ago) by a previous owner. Warmly Inscribed and Signed by Mr. De Vries on the front endpaper to a fellow New Yorker employee in 1985. Dustjacket maintains that original $2.50 price. 297 pp. Previous owner's neat bookplate to front pastedown (behind d.w. flap). Great illustrations by Charles Addams. . Inscribed and Signed By Author.
