Appears unread, pages are clean, bright and binding tight. Dust jacket is near pristine, not price clipped with the original $12.95 price on inner flap, with a very few trivial micro-tears to edge extremities typical of jackets of this age. Scarce children's book by screenwriter Herb Meadow who created and wrote the original screenplay of the hit TV western " Have Gun - Will Travel" (1957-1963). He also wrote many other TV shows and feature films including the screenplay for the 1953 movie "The Master of Ballantrae" and wrote the photoplay novel of the 1944 film "Uncertain Glory" both moviesstarring Errol Flynn. Signed & inscribed by hand in calligraphy by calligraphy artist Helen Gershen. Illustrated by Gerda With. Calligraphy by Helen Gershen. As of this writing, this is the only known signed copy of this title on the market today. Not ex-library, not remainder marked, not a autopen and not a facsimile autograph. Rare children's fantasy illustrated book from a Hollywood screenwriter, scarce signed collectible. 52pgs 4to.
