Book VERY GOOD PLUS, Covers Very Good. Boards and spine are blue cloth, lettering is gilt. Back cover is clean, flat, has two small bent corners with bit of dust on bottom one. Spine has minor edge wear and two 1/16 inch tears at top, has a bit of wrinkling at top half of front side of spine, has a 1/8 inch dent in back side of spine but did not break the cloth, and a minor bit of edge wear at bottom. Front cover is same as back, with a tiny bit of sunning just where front cover meets top of spine. Page edges are bright white. Book is slightly over-opened at pages 14 and 154 but no pages loose or missing. Inside back cover the sewing of binding is more easily seen than usual but no cracks, looseness or pages missing. Inside of book is tight, clean, bright, clear, white, flat. Photo of book is online. Foreword by James Stewart, Beverly Hills, California. Autobiography of David Shepherd, one of the fine painters of our time who is widely known for his paintings of elephants and also for his determination that the steam locomotive shall survive. Lots of black/white photos and drawings. STUNNING Colour photo plates of paintings.

I'm happy to answer any questions regarding my books, just ask. IMPORTANT RE POSTAGE: I'm in Canada so books to the USA/Other Countries are International shipments and may be delayed by CUSTOMS and/or HOMELAND SECURITY. I'm using the Biblio standard postage matrix, which gives average postage fees, therefore sometimes for an OVERSIZE or LARGE heavy book or expensive book, the postage may be too low and may require extra charges. If I know this in advance, I will notify the buyer before the order is processed.

This is not a huge book warehouse, it is a small one-owner store run by a true book lover. POSSIBLE DELAYS: I'm elderly and disabled and while this usually does not cause a delay in order processing, it sometimes may cause a small delay for me to get to the post office.
