Constable, London, 1968. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Very Good. Black coloured boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Photographic / illustrated dustwrapper with black and red coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Mainstream novel centring on the production of a film of the life of H. G. Wells, not to be confused with a biography of the same name by Teeter which is about Jules Verne. Rubbing of the lower book edges and a little bumping to the top corners of the book. Age toning of the text block edges with a few foxing spots also present. Rubbing of the dustwrapper edges and panels with the white coloured background becoming yellowed. Fading to the back strip.
