About This Item

London : Max Parrish , 1956. First edition. Cloth. Very Good Indeed/Very Good. 8" by 5". Ronald Searle . A lovely first edition copy of this outrageously funny guide to survival in the twenty first century, by George Willans. Geoffrey Willans was an English writer and journalist and is best known as the creator of Nigel Molesworth. The first edition of this hilarious guide to survival for people going through life in the twentieth century, features Nigel Molesworth and is illustrated by Ronald Searle. Nigel Molesworth is a fictional character and supposed author of a series of books about life in an English prep school named St Custards. In the original clipped dustwrapper. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some light fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. In the original clipped dustwrapper that has some marks and some chipping to the front wrap. Very Good Indeed
